Question for nurses...I am a student nurse...?

I hate to break it to you but becoming an RN does not mean you will just be delegating the unwanted tasks to others. Even the BSN nurses I work with still do personal care for their patients.Any nurse worth her salt knows that keeping a patient clean, dry and comfortable is a part of being a nurse. Never at any point should you think you are " above" doing patient care. Yes, it does get easier and you will get used to it. At first you will have to just take a deep breath and face what you have to do. Nursing is a wonderful career and I love knowing that every day I make a difference in someone's life.
