Was BPA only in plastic or was it in silicone, too?

I bought some Gerber that are made of silicone from an Amazon merchant. The package doesn't say BPA Free, but there is no plastic in the product so that could be why. The product is not used, but I don't know how old it is, either, so they could be from before the whole BPA thing. So, was BPA ever in silicone, or only in plastic?

Best Big Sur campin (quiet, nice views, secluded)?

Taking a road trip to northern California in early june and was deciding on camping in Big Sur for two nights. Just ate small portion of raw tuna from grocery store?

Well unfortunately no there isn't a way to get the email back, once you hit send and it says your message was sent it's gone. So at this point i would do damage control. Call your dad if you can and if you can't reach him leave a voice mail. If you know someone who could possibly know his email pword and account info you could discreetly log into his account delete your one wayward email and be gone. But if that's not possible i would just suck it up and tell your dad the truth. He's an adult obviously he knows you are and you'd be surprised parents tend to be way more understanding than you think. If the email was something ual meant for your partner like dirty talk or something of that nature i'm sure your dad will just delete it and pretend he never saw it and move on. A few years from now you can have a good laugh about it. Now if it was something malicious about your dad there's a tough one, i would just apologize and move on. Is it normal to be feeling this way during pregnancy?

I am 8 weeks and i'm not having a lot of symptoms. When i first found out i was pregnant *around week 4* i had fatigue and sore and veiny . Between week 6 and 7 i was feeling a little nauseous but not vomiting. I went to the doctor for the first prenatal visit and she prescribed me some nausea pills. I also havent been eating well. For example, in a simple attempt to attack his or her victim, the attacker trying to punch the face of his or her victim is concentrating his or her fists to attack rather than defend. A failed attempt is a good opportunity for the victim to launch his or her own attack, specially in those areas of the body that could be effectively defended by the hands but since the hands of the attacker were being used for attack, they are not available for his or her own defence against the attacks reciprocated by the victim in defence. I know it sounds so obvious but Martial Arts Techniques have advanced with such small aspects as its foundation. The lesson to be learnt is that anyone who starts off aggressively to hurt someone narrows his or her own scope because DEFENDING as an act gives more liberty and options than a mere act aimed to attack someone concentrating on just destroying the VICTIM. I think it's bad because as a student, I get super burnt out. Without a long break, I stop caring about school. A few days of break is nice, but it never allows you to fully let go, if that makes sense. I know that people say we'll learn more, forget less, but you have to allow for the fact that WE GET TIRED TOO. Also, lengthening the school year requires money, which we do not have as a country right now. Before we elongate the school year, let's work on the efficiency of our teachers! So many teachers have to teach to a test, meaning they care less about individual success, and more about getting that "good score" on the achievement test or graduation test or college entrance test... whatever it may be. We need to focus more on helping kids CARE about school. We need to teach PRACTICAL things. We need to emphasize the importance of individuality and making good choices. Most of all, we need to stop worrying about how we compare to other countries and worry more about the future of ourselves. Instead of calculus and AP chemistry, why don't we start taking financially geared cles? How about job readiness cles? Or how to interview? I find it amazing that kids my age have no idea how to interview. I've grown up in 4-H, so I've had to do multiple interviews every year since I was eight years old. Finally, how about working on expanding our cultural knowledge? Why don't we have to take religion or culture cles in high school?? Biology and Physics can only get you so far.

Has anyone had lap band surgery recently?

I had the procedure done 1 1/2 weeks ago. Glad to say that I lost 10 lbs in the first week. I saw the nutritionist 8 days post op and after leaving there, was under the impression by talking with her -reading thru some lines and drawing a bit of my own conclusion; that although the band is now ON, this is still basically a 'prep' (and healing) period since the band is not yet tightened and I haven't had a saline 'fill' yet, and wont until 6 weeks post-op. I did cautiously TRY a few foods that are not yet typically suggested and had no problems. I understand the stoma will not get small until the band is tightened w/the saline fill. Does this sound right to anyone??

The previous answers addressed questions 2 and 3 so I will focus on question 1. How well they will work in the lower temperatures depends on if you plan to use CFLs (screw in fluorescent lamps similar to incandescent) or linear type (4 foot straight tubes). The CFLs will start slower and have a slightly lower light output at lower temperatures compared to the linear types. You will have much better luck with the linear types and you want to use commercial grade fixtures with a Program Start type ballast. Typical fixtures have Instant Start or the old Rapid Start type ballast which will work in cold temperatures but the new Program Start type ballast will work better. I have seen T8 fixtures with a program start ballast installed in commercial Ice Cream freezers (-24 F) and they are on motion sensors so they cycle on/off. They start instantly at 70% of full light and are at full light output in 2-3 seconds. Since these are normally considered commercial grade lights, you will find these ballast and fixtures at electrical or lighting distributors. Large hardware stores typically do not carry them.

From what you say here, it does not appear to be a battery problem. If the headlights, etc work ok when you have a problem, its not the battery. If you attempt to start the car, and it makes 'no sound' at all, and tapping the starter motor makes no difference, it is not the starter motor. I'm not a mechanic, but if it was my car, I'd be troubleshooting the electrical system from the ignition switch forwards. Automatic cars have a neutral safety switch. This switch will not allow the car to be started if it is not in park or neutral. When activated, nothing will happen when you turn the ignition. I had a misadjusted switch on my old car, and it would not start in neutral. I'd be taking the car to a competent auto electrician, and asking them to take a look at the electrical system. The so called mechanics you have used so far have been rippping you off. As a side note, the problem could be due to loose or faulty wiring, near the vicinity of the radio. Next time it stops, lightly hit the dash area around the radio, and see if it makes any difference.

i think you need to get out of the house, and go for a walk. its surprisingly easy to wallow in depression, you have to make conscious and deliberate steps to do things that are proven to improve your mood, even though you feel horrid and think you are only 'going through the motions' these things will make you feel better. excersise, good food. talking to others. if you think you have seasonal affective disorder go for 5 min on a sunbed, this is proven to help in cases of SAD. major studies show that writing down 5 things you are grateful for every day helps immensely with mood. try these things for a week. above all know that depression is terrible but you are alive, you have a roof over your head and food to eat. life seems immense and confusing at times when you are young but moods and feelings are temporary- there are good times ahead. good luck!

First of all, let me preface this by saying that I am a medical student, so I might have a little bit of insight, but I am far from being a full fledged doctor. From what I understand of the matter, a retained placenta due to atony of the uterus would not be related to placenta accreta. There is a much higher risk of you developing placenta accreta because of your history of c-section births, and I would definitely bring it up with your doctor, but I would be more worried about a recurrence of a retained placenta than placenta accreta occurring with your current pregnancy. Good luck, and make sure you are open with your doctor and I'm sure everything will be fine.

How can I get rid of pain in my tendon?

The (Achilles?) tendon in my left leg hurts when I walk a lot or swim. It also hurts after I sit with my legs crossed and in certain positions when I sit with legs touching the ground (I don't know exactly which positions). I think it started when I tried to consistently swim faster than I used to. I returned to normal pace, but the pain remains. When I don't walk a lot during the day, I feel no pain.

Okay, I basically suck at any sport imaginable.
