Why don't we let the Free Market work out all of our problems?

Like the fact that our country has a horrible education system. That's because the teacher unions p laws allowing teachers to slack off and even ually abuse their students without being fired. And then people think that spending more money on gym equipment would actually help the students learn. If we let the best schools prosper and the worst schools fail, then we would only have good schools. Parents would want to send their kids to the best school possible and not a crappy one.
