Why half hispanic/white people usually look white,but half black/white people usually look black?

Cameron Diaz's father is Cuban-American. The American part in there could mean that her dad could have white in him too. Also, some cubans have a light complection so that could be why she doesn't look hispanic either. my friend is half hispanic(from chile)/half white and she looks mixed. some ppl just think she's white but if u really look at her, you can definetly tell. You should see that chick Jael on ANTM, she looks like a white chick for sure! i mean, i'm mostly white but i have some native american in me and she's half black, and i look less white than she does! and i don't even look that mixed! it's crazy!
