What is the best way to propagate a Rosemary twig?

I have rooted rosemary stems with quite a bit of success by simply placing a six or eight inch cutting in water, Cut the bottom end at an angle, place it in a clear gl or jar half full of water, and leave it in a semi shady location. Make sure to change the water every couple of days to keep it from souring. When the cutting has grown roots an inch or so long plant it in a pot of good growing medium.
